Our roots in the UK

Acre Cars Orlando is built on a story that started many years ago in Hertfordshire, England, with our sister company, Acre Cars. Back in 2004, what began as a small family business in Hoddesdon was really just a simple idea: to offer people a reliable, friendly service they could count on. We never imagined at the time how far that journey would take us.

In those early days, it was all hands on deck. Family members helped wherever they were needed, and friends who believed in what we were trying to do played a big part too. That support meant everything.

As the business grew, so did our gratitude for the people around us who helped turn a small local taxi service into something much bigger. By 2006, we had taken our first steps into executive transport, and over time, Acre Cars grew into a trusted name serving customers across Hertfordshire and London.

Our first office in Hoddesdon

After years of growth and increasing demand for our services, we proudly opened our first dedicated office in Hoddesdon in 2012. What had started as a small family-run operation from home had grown into a thriving transportation business, and the new office provided a permanent base from which we could better support our customers, drivers, and expanding team. This milestone marked an important step in our journey and reflected the hard work and dedication that had helped the business grow since its founding in 2004.

Expanding into Hertford

As the business continued to evolve, we opened our second office in Hertford in 2018 to support our growing customer base and operational needs. The expansion allowed us to increase our presence across Hertfordshire while continuing to provide the personal service and reliability that our customers had come to expect. Although the company had grown significantly since its early days, we remained committed to the family values and customer-focused approach that continue to define our business today.

Even now, after all these years, it still feels very much like a family business because that is exactly what it is. Family members are still involved in the day-to-day running of the company, and the same values that guided us from the beginning are still at the heart of everything we do. We have been lucky to have the support of family, friends, and loyal customers along the way, and we never take that for granted.

Acre Cars Orlando - our new adventure

Now, we are bringing that same spirit to Central Florida through Acre Cars Orlando. As we expand into Orlando, part of the family is relocating to the United States to help build this next chapter, while other family members remain in the UK to continue caring for our sister company there. It means a great deal to us to be able to grow in this way while still keeping the family at the centre of it all.

Acre Cars Orlando is our way of continuing a journey that started more than 20 years ago, and we hope to bring the same care, reliability, and personal touch to every journey we provide in Orlando. Whether it is an airport transfer, a resort trip, a cruise connection, or private transportation, we want every customer to feel looked after from the moment they book with us.

We are truly grateful for how far the business has come and for everyone who has helped us along the way. We look forward to welcoming visitors, families, business travellers, and local residents in Central Florida and sharing the same level of service that has been part of our family for more than two decades.
